Mythos in games
Book editorial design
Mythos in games is a guidebook that delves into the realm of Greek mythology. It is the first installment within a series that takes a close look at how Greek myths connect to popular game franchises. Keeping the focus on Greek mythology, this book takes you on a journey to discover where today’s games take influence come from.
This editorial project emerged from a perceived gap in gaming books exploring real world historical elements. One could call this an attempt to bring lore and history buffs together in an unconventional manner.

Special care was taken when considering the layout of the book. It follows a rigid 3 column structure (as the number 3 symbolizes harmony in Greek mythology) with a well through-out hierarchy, typography and image placement. Visual storytelling was important to this project. As such carefully curated AI images were included to bring the characters, objects and scenes to life and to enhance the narrative and complement the text.

With a cohesive visual identity established the project prioritizes clarity and intuitive navigation to ensure that readers can immerse themselves in the content without distraction.
