This project's is part of a collection whose core concept is about exploring pattern design in fashion, from an illustrator’s point of view.
This piece features a Gothic and Victorian inspired design, with flourishes, embellishments and decorative elements. I researched ornamentation in architecture and design and combined elements from my explorations to create the final pattern in this illustration

Fun with patterns: Queen
This project's is part of a collection whose core concept is about exploring pattern design in fashion, from an illustrator’s point of view.
For the second piece in this series, I wanted to try working on an illustration with a restricted color palette.
I researched different options with the pattern I was working on until I landed on a split complementary color scheme consisting of blues, oranges and yellows.
With these colors I was able to create a simultaneously cold and warm pattern of a starry night sky.

Fun with patterns: Astarte
This project's is part of a collection whose core concept is about exploring pattern design in fashion, from an illustrator’s point of view.
For this third illustration in the collection, I sought out to create a piece that featured a sense of movement and fluidity.
To achieve that, I focused on simple lines and patterns, which allowed me to create flowing and elegantly curved lines, which came together to create a sense of motion in the piece.
As for the focus of the piece, I went with the goddess Astarte, which led me to incorporate Phoenician inspired geometric patterns in the design.
For this third illustration in the collection, I sought out to create a piece that featured a sense of movement and fluidity.

Each illustration portrays a different era, showcasing how the city grew and changed over time, influenced by cultural and historical events that shaped the city's identity throughout history.

This piece was inspired by the forests I have gotten to explore since I moved to Sweden. The forests here have a mysterious atmosphere, are dense with foliage, greenery and of course are full of mushrooms.
